I learned that the earthquake that happened in San Fransisco was a magnitude of 7.8 m. More than 3000 people lost their lives. It took 3 years to rebuild San Fransisco back to what it was.

IN THE SLIDESHOW IT SAID THERE WERE SHOCKS UP TO 695 MILES WIDE. IT ALSO SAID THAT 3000 PEOPLE WERE KILLED. LAST BUT NOT LEAST IT SAID IT HAD A MAGNITUDE OF 7.8.
