Throughout Nelson Mandela’s life, he has been through many challenges and accomplishments. He is a very important person in this world. Without the help of Mandela’s hard work and leadership, Africa would not be the same as it is now.

Some of the challenges he went through changed his life. In 1962 Mandela was captured and sentenced to 5 years in prison. Conditions were terrible. In October of 1963, Mandela was charged with sabotage. This new charge come after he had already been charged, convicted, and sentenced to five year in prison for leaving the country illegally. Many people were sad about Mandela’s imprisonment, but the saddest of all was his wife Winnie.

There are many things that impacted and influenced Nelson Mandela’s life. For example, when he was a child he had a happy childhood. One time he was a herd boy so he learned to love cattle. Because of his devotion and commitment to the black cause, he barely had time to spend with his family.

Did you know that Mandela’s greatest pleasure, and his most private moment is when he is watching the sun set with the music of Handel or Tchaikovsky playing. This kina shows what kind of man he was. During the early fifties Mandela played a very important part in leading the resistance to the Western Areas. Even though he was provoked, he has never answered racism with racism. Nelson Mandela had his problems but through all the struggling and violence he still came out on top. Mandela was elected president by the National Assembly on May 9, 1994, in Cape Town

When nelson Mandela was young I never though that he could be so brave to ride a donkey and get his face all rip up that badly if it was to be me I would be like f I’m really hurt help me so people would come chasing me and help me as if I was going to die or something and so they will help me really badly so this is all I have to say for this paragraph.
Nelson was a brave to have to be send into jail while at a very young age of him to be lock up in jail for the first 5 year for trying to leave the country and not come back he got caught and was sentence to 5 year that a very long time for someone that young to be in a place where no one in the world want to be in so that why I think that he was a very brave man to go through all the stuff he been through.

Next nelson was a person who never know how to quite he just came back what he wanted to do at first until the dam police lock him up for some really studied reason the be lock up and it would have been very hard for him to do that and what did moving the country wrong nothing is wrong with moving to a different country so this is why I really envy nelson Mandela.

Nelson Mandela was released out of prison at 4:15 pm on Sunday Feb.1990 from prison for the first time in 10,000 years. If it was me that I been let go in 1990 I would be really surprise to get out of prison because I will very get tired of it because that I have lived there for so many year I don’t want to live there no more it is hard to be lock up in a place like that anyway.
Nelson Mandela had became the (ANC) president because of his way of the person who never knew how to give up in a way he make me remember when I was 9 when people said that I was to short to shoot a basketball hoop and they did not know what I was made for so then I kick like 5 people butt on 1 on 1 basketball playing.
Both Mandela and president de Klerk were awarded the noble prize because that president de Klerk was the one who gave Mandela the freedom of where he was about to be in so that why he had to be a man and get out of where he was at so he decided to get out of jail but in the movie that I saw Mandela was a person who never give up and keep fighting his whole way to the ground and he actually made it to be the (ANC) leader but for his first wife Winnie Mandela the former president of the (ANC) was lock up for 5 years

Do you ever wonder how this world became less racist and with more rights? Well there’s a lot of people that helped made a better world but one of them is nelson Mandela he stop apartheid and change a lot of things in prison but like any other person he went through a lot of things in his life.

Nelson Mandela had a lot of happy times/important events in his life nelson Mandela was born July 19 1918 they named him Rolihlahla but when he attend school teachers called him Nelson he was the only boy out of four children ,Nelson got married 3 times and had 6 children first time he got married to Evelyn and had four children they divorce and got married to Winnie and had 2 more kids but he got divorced again and got married for his 3rd time around his 80’s he got out of jail after 30 years and he was still fighting for apartheid to stop.

But Nelson didn’t just have happy times he also went through a lot of times. Like when his father passed away when he was just nine and he had to move in with his uncle. He went in prison 2 times the 2nd time was for 3 decades and all his life he went through violence apartheid and unfair things.

Even after all the things he went through he also had many accomplishments when he was in prison he did a lot of changes like got better food more rights and more time for the prisoners to communicate with each other, In 1912 African national congress was formed the ANC intended to call attention to t he practice of racial segregation in South Africa and became president of South Africa, he also stop apartheid and racism.

Nelson Mandela went through good and bad but he never gave up on making a better world and to make what he wanted to happen even if he was in jail for 30 years he still was trying to make a better world with more rights and he made that happen and that’s how he became famous.

Did you know about a man that was locked in prison and became a president after he was released from prison? Nelson Mandela was a good man. He had a hard childhood life. Life in prison was hard for Nelson Mandela and the other prisoners.
Nelson Mandela was a good man. While he was still locked in prison he still fought for the right of black and white peoples in South Africa. After he was released from prison, he was elected as president of South Africa and stopped the apartheid laws.
Nelson Mandela’s childhood life was really hard for him. His father died when he was nine years old and he had to go live with his uncle, Chief Jongintaba in Qunu. Nelson’s uncle is the leader of the Thembu people. As a young black adult, they weren’t able to attend jobs. When Nelson Mandela was in college, he and his friend weren’t able to work for the government.
Life in prison was hard for Nelson Mandela and the other prisoners. Nelson Mandela, Walter Sisulu, and the other prisoners were locked in small cells in Robben Island. All they get to sleep with was a pillow, a blanket, and had to sleep on the floor. Mandela was locked in prison for 3 decades and was released on February 11, 1990.
Thanks to Nelson Mandela for stopping the apartheid, the people in South Africa got better and treated each other more equally. Nelson Mandela was still remembered as a great man to the people of South Africa.

Nelson Mandela

What would you do if you were living in south Africa and you wanted to shop at a store bur they wouldn’t let you in because of your race? What would you do? I am going to tall you about a man named Nelson Mandela. Nelson Mandela risked everything to try and make apartheid stop. Many people risked their own life to help Nelson Mandela risked everything to try and make apartheid stop. Even though many people died Nelson Mandela never stopped. He was also arrested many times and he still found a way to try and stop apartheid in Africa. He helped a lot of people in the past years. If it wasn’t for Nelson Mandela apartheid would still be happening this minute.

Nelson Mandela had a rough childhood. He was born around wealth and royalty bur there was still apartheid. His father was chief. He was born in a small village of Mvezo in South Africa on July 18, 1918. His father died when he was only nine years old. Before his father died he sees to that Nelson was to go live with his uncle.

He had and interesting love life. He was married 3 times. He had 6 children; nelson’s first wife was named Evelyn Massy. Evelyn was a young cousin of Walter Sisulu. She was a nurse at Johannesburg General Hospital. They got married in 1944. He had 4 children with her but they soon divorced. His second wife was named Winnie Madikizela. They had 2 children they were both girls. While he was married to Winnie he was put in jail. While he was in jail himself and Winnie were suffering. When Mandela was release he filed for a divorce a couple of months later. On his 80th birthday Nelson Mandela married his 3rd wife whose name is Graca Machel.

The challenges he had to face was the apartheid and was trying to solve the problem in jail. He could barely talk to his wife. He only got to see her once every year and can only write one letter every 6 months, he gad to stay locked op in a cell that was his arm length for 3 decades with no music or anything. He was in there in daylight hours.

The Accomplishments he made was getting apartheid to stop. When he was released everyone was waiting for him. He tried all he can to stop the apartheid and it did. When apartheid ended he gave out a speech to the world. Another accomplishment Nelson Mandela had was his Nobel Peace Prize in 1993, where he was notice for his peaceful nonviolent actions. Nelson also accomplished being chosen to be the president of South Africa/

Nelson Mandela had a lot of important events. When Mandela was a young man he took a job outside as a guard. He was a guard for one of the compounds where the black miners were housed. The treason trial formally opened when Nelson Mandela got married to Winnie. Nelson Mandela was a leader for the ANC. Him and the other leaders were willing to risk everything for another change.

The apartheid ended because of Nelson Mandela. He did everything he could to make it stop and it did. This is a biography of Nelson Mandela and about the things he did to make apartheid stop and the struggles. He went through challenges, heart breaking love lives, and his prison life.

Have you ever thought for how nelson Mandela became an important man in South Africa? Nelson was an important man that fought for what he believed…he fought for Africans human rights. He struggled a lot but I would say he never gave up…

Mandela had a kind of happy childhood…he was a herd boy who tended sheep and cattle. At age 16, nelson continued his education. As he grew he married 3 times and had 6 kids… he was married longer with his 2nd wife, Winne Mandela he told her about the treason case and his life in the struggle . They both fought for African human rights…

Mandela went through many challenges in his life… his father died when Mandela was just 9 years old…when he went to school his teacher changed his name to Nelson…Nelson Mandela. When Nelson first went to college, black South Africans were not allowed to work for the government. Apartheid laws limited the ways Nelson could earn his living and the type of life he could lead.

Nelson Mandela was both presidents of the ANC and South Africa… First Nelson Mandela started attended meetings of the African National Congress; in the same year he also passed the final examination to earn his college degree.

When Mandela was sentenced 27 years in prison … he still did not give upon his dreams. He taught others in jail… Mandela was given the choice to follow rules and get out of jail…or stay in jail. When he was free the black majority had a say in the running of their country and that they wanted to lead them was Nelson Mandela. On May 2, 1994 Mandela won the election and became the 1st black president of South Africa…

All that Mandela did was worth it…he suffered a lot, for his people but got to were he wanted…

Now we know that Mandela did a lot to change one part of the world…it did not matter the consequences he was he was in it to win it…

Who is Nelson Mandela? Why is he so important? Well Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born in the small village of Mvezo in South Africa on July 18, 1918. Mandela is so important because he fought against apartheid for South Africa. He made a big difference in his country.

Nelson Mandela is part of the oldest African organization in the country, and its members were from the many tribal groups in South Africa. In 1942, Mandela began attending meetings of the African National Congress (ANC). Later on, Nelson became president of the ANC.
The 1953 apartheid laws meant blacks and non-whites had to give up on everything. Apartheid laws limited the way Nelson could earn his living, and the type of life he could live. They couldn’t do the things they want. They were ruled by whites in their own country.

In 1962, Mandela was captured and sentenced to 5 years in prison. In October, 1963, Mandela was yet charged with sabotage. The new charge came after he had already been charged, convicted, and sentenced to five years in prison for leaving the country illegally.

Nelson Mandela lived a happy childhood. He was born and raised in a tribe called Xhosa. He herds sheep and cattle. To the Xhosa, cattle represented food, wealth, and a source of happiness, and a blessing from god.

Mandela had a wife named Winnie. While his imprisonment, she was left with the burden of explaining things to the children and holding the family together. Winnie was also in charge of everything thing the ANC did. Year’s later, Nelson Mandela and Winnie divorced.

Yet today, Mandela is still alive. He was a big impact on the south Africans because he change the way things went in South Africa. He accomplished the biggest challenge in South Africa would still be in apartheid.

Mandela Essay

Who is Nelson Mandela? Well, I’m going to tell you the important things that happened through out his lifetime. He’s important because he changed the black’s rights in South Africa.

Some of the most important events are: he was born in July 18, 1918 he was born the son of a king in their tribe, so he was considered the prince.

He married Winnie but that happy moment in his life was not to last because later that same month he was arrested.

Nelson Mandela eventually became president of South Africa in 1944 he only remained in term for four years he resigned after that so he could spend time with his grandchildren.

He went through many challenges throughout his life his father died while he was still at a young age, later in his life he could not speak publically, and he & his wife could not communicate often.

Mandela had many problems in his lifetime but he overcame them by believing in equal rights for everyone.
