May 25, 2008 by alicemercer · 26 Comments · assignments

Now, write about any of the following topics:

  1. What challenges you’ve faced this year;
  2. What you think of Jason’s run;
  3. Health care for you and your family;
  4. What successes you’ve had this year.

If you have another idea, ask me, I’ll probably go tell you to go for it if you can write three sentences.

    The reason I supported Jason And Lewis is because they did a great job, and they made me so happy when they ran through that banner and made the 100 mile run! It made them happy when they ran through that long line of supporters.

    My biggest challenge was the star test. It was so hard but I did my best it was so long to and some parts were so hard.What I think of Jason’s run,is that he was being so thoughtful for doing all that for all of us just for us to get our health care or dental care.

    The problems I face over the year is Inquiry. Every time I finish one project , people always come to me and give me even more work. I feel like people are taking advantage of me. When Jason finish the one hundred mile run, he taught not to give up. Now when people ask me to do something, I just say do it yourself.

    Some challenges I had faced this year were learning how to divide mix number. Another challenge was how to play volleyball and soccer. That hardest challenge I had ever face was to beat the last master of my video game. I faced many courses but I manage to beat them.

    What I think about Jason’s run is that he ran a lot.Also what I think is that he ran for Oak Ridge students.Finally what I think about his run is that he ran in 24 hours.

  • Annabela S.

    Some challenges that I had faced this year were learning standards that I needed to master to pass 5th grade. I also learned how to get healthier like exercising and eating a lot of healthy food. When I first heard about Jason running for 100 miles I thought about me. I couldn’t even finish 4 miles!! When I saw him finish the 100 miles, I was very surprised. My family has a private health care plan that I don’t know much of. Some successes that I had this year were getting learning how to master the 5th grade standards. It was challenging but I hopefully passed 5th grade.

    My classes and my behavior has been bad in class.We were pretty much very loud.We even had to go back outside and line up again.My behavior is always kind of good but when the whole class does something the whole class gets in trouble.There is no I didn’t do anything and stuff like that.
