We are going to start getting ready to do a project creating timelines.

After you have done this, please leave a comment with 3 sentences about what you think about the war. Was it fair for colonists to complain about taxes? What about the cost of soldiers to protect the colonies from the French? Shouldn’t the colonies pay for some of that protection?
What I learned is that people had to leave their children at home doing chores while the parents go out.
The taxes was unfair because they the only colonist they got to pay for the protection.The colonist should have a nether colonist to protect them.One that don’t have to pay taxes for their safety.
I think that they didn’t have to pay for the taxes any way because the British would of fought. I think it wasn’t fair to charge the people for money.
I think the taxes was unfair because the colonies didn’t do anything wrong to the British.I also think it was fair for the colonist to complain about the taxes.On the other hand the colonist she be happy the soldiers protected them from the French.
They should pay for their protection because unless they would int they wanted to die or something related to that.And that they wanted to die.And something else they also payed taxes for the tea.
I think that they shouldn’t have paid for protection because that is their own country and they should be helping each other out and not pay.So my answer is a no.I also think that they shouldn’t pay because they live in the the same country and is trying to fight another country.
I think the colonist did have to pay for the kings soldiers because they protected them from the French. I also think the colonist should be thankful because the kings soldiers offered to help the colonist. I also think that the colonist should pay taxes because without the soldiers their homes probably would of been destroyed.
Should only the colonist have to pay for that? What if only New York had to pay for the current war in Iraq? Would that be fair?–Ms. Mercer
The 3 things I know about taxes is that sometimes they people think it’s unfair. I also don’t think that the Americans had to pay taxes to the soldiers that protected them. Well it was mostly King George’s fault.
King George III closed the port for punishment.They took the taxes off everything but the one on tea.The Americans got really mad, so they dressed as redcoats and went to the ship and threw all the tea into the Boston Harbor.
I think they shouldest have taxes on tea because it is to much money .
i say yes and no case i say no case they have no money to pay for them but i say yes case if they do not they have a resp there life if hey do not so i say yes and no but life will be so much better if we just stop all this fighting we shooed just be friends.
One thing is that i hate taxes.I hate them because it just makes things cost more and then it’s harder for people like most people to bye things.

The thing I thought about the war was that it was bad because King George put taxes on the tea.Plus then the angry Patriots dumped the tea in the Boston Harbor.Then Paul Revere spread the news to New Jersey and etc.
I learn that the American didn’t pay for the taxed and that why they have war.They have war with the India because the British dress like India and threw all the taxed into the water.And I learn that they have to leave there children at home in go work for the solder.
They didn’t have a war with India, but with the French and Indians (and some Indians fought with the British and American colonists). The Americans dressed like Indians to throw British tea in the harbor.–Ms. Mercer

I feel sorry for the peopel ho die and servie for us in the Reveloushen war.I would like the people ho die.I do not like the war.
war is bad because people get hurt a lot and killed. but some people get to live. thats what i put.
I think the war is not far for some family’s because, some of the men who fought in the war had family’s might have died. I also think that kids and adults should not pay taxes unless it is for a good cause. Why do people have to pay taxes? what is it for?

The colonist said they hate the taxes and King George the III. Then the people from Boston dump the tea into the harbor. They all went to World War 1 and battle the powerful army of British and the Patriot’s army won.
I think that it was fair for the colonists to complain about taxes because people shouldn’t have to pay money in order to be protected. I think that the colonists had to pay pretty much a lot of money because they kept on complaining about taxes. I think that the result of the Revolutionary War changed America, but not so much because right now, we still have to pay taxes.

I think that we shouldn’t need to pay taxes because we don’t have much money. I agree with the Patriots, they did a smart thing dumping the tea. They should of got rid of King Gorge The III.

taxes. There was five people that was throwing rock,stake
snowball at the soiler because they keep taking the people

The Revolutionary War was the thing that changed America forever. I think the British deserve for what happen over the Revolutionary War. The Patriots disguise themselves as Indian and dump the tea into the harbor.
