IT is important because if you have a space suit you can still breath and the oxygen can still come in.So when you go on space you still can feel the oxygen coming up to your halmint and you can breath the oxygine coming from the earth. that is why it is important to always bring a backpack so you can put water and a extra space shuttle suit.
